UrbanFold worked with East Gippsland Shire Council to explore the potential of a vibrant arts and cultural precinct in Bairnsdale. The aim is to transform the CBD into a multifunctional hub supporting creative activity while boosting tourism and economic opportunities across the region.

UrbanFold together with Williams Ross Architects led community engagement identifying opportunities to enhance public spaces facilities and local creative industries.

Streetscapes cultural infrastructure and public gathering spaces were carefully considered to support both day-to-day community use and tourism. A transformed precinct would strengthen the local arts sector diversify economic activity and provide a welcoming inclusive environment for residents and visitors alike.
